In 2004 I bought with a sommelier friend a small vineyard located in El Molar to a taxi driver of Barcelona. Huellas was our first wine and in our first vintage, 2004, we only produced 500 bottles.
As it was a tiny project starting we called it “Huellas” meaning “fingerprints” echoing the hand-craft labour involved. Currently 100% of the grapes are cultivated in Poboleda, an appropriate place to produce an elegant fresh Priorat wine.
This elegant wine, a Grenache and Carignan coupage, has a velvety texture with a savoury crunchy character and is very fresh.
