In 2004, I bought with a sommelier friend a small vineyard in El Molar from a taxi driver in Barcelona. Huellas was our first wine and in our first vintage, 2004, we only made 500 bottles.
Echoing the human and manual labor involved and the few tools used in the process, we decided to call the wine Huellas, “Footprints” in english. Currently, 100% of the grapes are grown in Poboleda, an area suitable for producing an elegant and fresh Priorat wine.
This wine is made with Garnacha and Cariñena and stands out for its elegance, silky texture and tasty character. The entrance in the mouth is soft and the wine grows little by little, providing a pleasant sensation of freshness.
